ECV Podcast: Josie and the Pussycats 5 for 5
Bringing back an ECV oldie - the 5 for 5. Five films that you might like if you liked Josie and the Pussycats.
Long time listeners of the pod might remember when Russ and I would go see a movie usually at the big screen and then give five film recommendations that you might like if you like that one. This was something we ended up doing a lot with new releases at the video store. Say the new release was out of stock but you really wanted to see something that was a subversive comedy (Pecker), or a mafia film (Miller’s Crossing), or blockbuster shoot’em up (The Way of the Gun) - well we had alternative recommendations.
This is that, in podcast form. To reboot that premise we decided to go back to an old favorite, one that Russ wrote a book about, Josie and the Pussycats. You can of course buy BEST MOVIE EVER book at Amazon, B&N and if you’d like it signed, directly from the author himself at JosieBook.com.
Without further ado - here’s the show notes for our 5 for 5 on Josie and the Pussycats.
