“Superagent” Wants Pat McAfee in Michael Mann’s HEAT 2
The perpetually bright-red commentator has been in cowboy shows.
If you’re like me, you might be wondering why the man that was the inspiration for Entourage’s Ari Gold is getting so much press this week. Ari Emanuel the super-agent to the stars (or whatever his press team calls him to stop his screaming) has got a book out. Roll The Calls is Emanuel’s memoir, (written with J. R. Moehringer) which contains many swears, and a list of people who are dead to him - because, well, that’s his brand.
The interviews are filled with mind-blowing tidbits like this one from Variety:

We also find out he wakes up really early and takes a lot of phone calls (his book is titled “Roll The Calls” get it?). The interview that got my attention was the one he did with Vulture. Beyond the Vulture’s being a better, and more interesting interview, it got this nightmarish answer.

Yeah, Ari is trying to get his client, sports screamer Pat McAfee into the film that every white film guy on reddit has been hyped about for years: HEAT 2. He’ll share the screen with Leonardo Dicaprio, Christian Bale and Stephen Graham.
McAfee, if you’re not familiar is the most obnoxious thing on ESPN outside of the non-stop gambling ads he also pushed a harassment campaign against an 18 year old college student that led to her leaving her college dorms and receiving threats. He’s since apologized for it “The matter was settled to each party’s satisfaction,” Justin Cornett, the girls father told The Athletic.
In other Pat McAfee news that I am just now finding out about, a month ago he released his first music(?) album titled The Diary Of A Polarizing Figure. You can listen to the title track below - but first I recommend that you read this excellent review of the album in Defector, I Played Pat McAfee’s Album For Another Frequently Red-Faced, Sleeveless Baby by Giri Nathan.
I am compelled to add that Ari Emanuel is also the Executive Chairman and the CEO of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. which owns WWE and UFC. TKO was founded with Vince McMahon. President Donald Trump also owns shares in the TKO Group, a fact that was brought to light when the UFC held their UFC Freedom 250 event earlier this year.
