What I'm reading as I return to Minneapolis

Since the last time I was in Minneapolis, Border Czar Tom Homan - a man with nightmarish conspiracy beliefs and zero oversight outside of Trump himself - has taken over ICE in the city. I’ve written about Homan before and I highly recommend that you read it.

700 ICE agents are said to be leaving the city, likely to go to Ohio and or Maine leaving over 2000 still in the city. The remaining shock troops have been keeping busy kidnapping residents and harassing journalists. News2Share’s Ford Fischer was directly threatened by DHS for legally following ICE agents.

They desperately want to do their kidnappings without media simply recording them do it. That should be a sign of something, no?

I’m about to jump on the second leg of my flight to Minneapolis (thank you supporters at my Gofundme!) so here’s the articles I’ve been reading as I travel.

Techcrunch: Homeland Security is trying to force tech companies to hand over data about Trump critics

CBS (I apologize for linking to CBS, read with Copagada caution): Minnesota activist Kyle Wagner arrested and charged with threatening ICE agents

AP: Slotkin rejects Justice Department request for interview on Democrats’ video about ‘illegal orders’

NPR: Trump officials propose testing a citizenship question amid a push to alter the census

COURIER: MAP: All 23 industrial warehouses ICE wants to turn into detention ‘death camps’

UNICORN RIOT: Federal Agent in Coon Rapids: ‘The more people that you lose in Minnesota, you then lose a voting right to stay blue.
