White Supremacist Jake Lang Arrested, finally...
But he's already been released of course. Because the justice system "works."
Jake Lang who has been running a terror speedrun through America was arrested today in Washington DC for threats against a Metropolitan Police officer last month during a J6th anniversary event.
I witnessed and filmed the threats, which you can watch (most of) above… I think I missed one or two.
You might recognize Lang from my previous reporting in Minneapolis - Minneapolis Dispatch: Jake Lang’s U-Haul and Operation Dildo Blitz where he pepper sprayed DC activist Patricia Eguino and got away with it. I guess the secret right wing way of getting away with crimes is attack leftists - not police officers. That said, Jake is a pardoned January 6er - and one of the most violent offenders.
Lang has a vendetta against Commander Jason Bagshaw and you can hear the litany of complaints he has against the officer that he went head to head with on January 6th.
The complaint reads:
On January 6, 2026, Commander Bagshaw with the Metropolitan Police Department was working multiple First Amendment demonstrations occurring on the National Mall in the area of 3d and Constitution Ave, NW, in Washington, DC. Commander Bagshaw was on duty and in full uniform with police identifiers displayed when he was approached by the suspect, Edward Jacob Lang. Suspect Lang approached Commander Bagshaw and began to confront him about events that occurred on January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol.
Suspect Lang directed threats to Commander Bagshaw, which were witnessed by other members of the Metropolitan Police Department. They were also posted by way of a video recording on Instagram.
Below are the statements that were threatening and directed towards Commander Bagshaw:
“A Pitbull that needs to be put down.”
“And hung right here in front of the capital on National TV, we would love to see that.”
“Deserve to be put down like a dead dog.”
“Public execution is the only solution for animals like you.”
“Your day will come, and I will be there for it, look left and right when you cross the street motherfucker.”
“We need to do more, drag him out by his ankles and throw him in the Potomac.”
“He will get his.”
I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t add that Commander Bagshaw is one of the worst officers in a terrible police department. He killed someone while off duty and like much of the MPD is incredibly abusive and not protective of residents of the District.
That said, Lang shouldn’t be able to get away with making death threats against an law enforcement officer. Especially as someone who previously had been documented attacking officers with a baseball bat on January 6th.
I’ll have more on Lang as I interviewed him last year at the Rod of Iron festival. It did not go well for him.
The plate carrier (with no plate) wearing former felon was also arrested in Minneapolis just a couple weeks ago for destroying an anti-ICE ice sculpture. The Guardian reported that he was arrested on “suspicion of criminal damage to property, which is classified as a felony.”
Jake Lang is running for US Senate in Florida.
